At Vijaya we create an eco-system for learning where children are inspired and encouraged to learn in a meaningful way. We actively engage all the stakeholders to facilitate all-round development of students. We have meticulously weaved value education, life skills programme into all academic programmes across all age groups that enable children to take actions at various levels and capacities. Moreover, our rigorous academic programme coupled with co-curricular activities provide a right platform for achieving higher academic standards.

The in-school activities, outdoor interactions, exposure to spiritual practices, sports, arts, culture and environmental activities enhance students’ understanding of the self and the context they live in to help them to contribute in productive ways.

Vijaya school is affiliated to Karnataka State Education Board.  For the Pre-school, We have adopted a thematic approach which employs integrated pedagogy giving students’ curiosity and spontaneity a central stage. We follow Karnataka State Board Syllabus for Primary and High School. However, we have integrated all the elements of National Curriculum Framework to facilitate students to perform at par with other national boards. In making our curriculum challenging and rigorous, we prescribe various learning materials from renowned publishers at different class levels.

We prepare students to be life-long learners. All our academic and co-curricular activities are designed for deep conceptual understanding and application in real life. Our teachers use various learning materials along with State Board textbooks to ensure our students perform at par with CBSE and ICSE students. NTSE, GMAT and Science Enrichment classes prepare students to perform excellently in all competitive exams. We create an academic culture where students learn with interest and are not pressurized by short sighted competitions for marks.
We believe each child has its own learning pace and ability. In order to facilitate students with learning difficulty, we ask the students to stay back after school hours on some days to provide extra support wherever required. We have trained our teachers about special education and consult specialists to cater to the needs of those students who need special instruction. A regular feedback regarding the progress of the students are taken from parents. We closely work with parents by orienting them on how they can guide their child at home.
We extensively train our staff on safety, security and their responsibilities. All staff is sensitized to the responsibility of taking personal care of children particularly when they go for outdoor activities. CCTV is installed in all classrooms and school areas to keep strict vigilance. Full time security at the entry and exit gate is appointed. All visitors are required to sign in the visitors’ book at the security cabin. Constant monitoring and random checking at different areas in school are physically done.

Vijaya School is a day school.
